CCDHS WELDING PROJECT

Located at: Miles City Parks

Gabriele Haughian, a welding teacher at CCDHS, reached out to the community to ask how her introductory level welding students could help with a project to better their hometown. Partnering with the Miles City Downtown Art Walk, first and second year welding students designed, proposed, and built functional furniture pieces for community parks such as benches and picnic tables. The students were responsible for presenting their plans and cost estimates and executing their projects.
