THE ARTIST:

Award-winning artist Elyssa Leininger was born and raised in Billings, Montana, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the American West. She grew up riding and showing horses, participating in rodeo, hunting, fishing, hiking, and creating art that is inspired by her Western lifestyle. She has been featured in museums, auctions, and exhibits across the West, and is one of the largest creators of public art in the state, with works covering more than 13,000 square feet of public spaces in Billings. THE BUILDING:

You 1st Insurance is a locally owned and operated health and life insurance agency proudly serving Eastern Montana. Founded by Miles City natives Jamilea Daubel and Cady Desjardin, the agency has deep roots in the community. Prior to becoming business owners, Jamilea and Cady were employees of Traci Schell Insurance. In July 2021, they acquired the agency and rebranded it as You 1st Insurance, reflecting their commitment to putting clients first. In January 2025, the agency moved into its new home at 1101 Main Street in Miles City.
